Short Version Curriculum Vitae:

Dr. Borodic has almost 40 years of experience in the health professions. He has worked in areas of ophthalmology, neurology, surgical research, pharmacology and hematology throughout his career. He has served as chief resident in Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Surgery at Harvard Medical School, and served as House officer in Neurologic Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital.  

Dr. Borodic’s focus as been Ophthalmic surgery and plastic surgery of the upper face. He is expert in facial movement disorders, reconstructive oculoplastic surgery, surgery of the eyelids and eye surgery and has successfully practiced for over 25 years in the Boston and New England community.  

He has also worked extensively with botulinum toxin (BOTOX and related products). Dr. Borodic is expert in the pharmacology, safety and many applications of this medication.  He is the most experienced physician in New England with this pharmaceutical technology.  He has multiple original publications, book chapters and   patents on the subject.  

Dr. Borodic’s practice is limited to diseases involving the face, eye, as well as certain neurologic conditions. He has been an active surgeon at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary since 1984.
